The Core Collection

Lucaz Design develops original works across three typologies: lighting, furniture, and objects. These are structured as a coherent system rather than isolated releases.

The Core Collection comprises entirely original designs by Cora Lucaz. It functions as the primary authored body of work within the studio — establishing formal language, material direction, and typological continuity.

Rather than operating through seasonal cycles, the collection follows an evergreen model. Core pieces remain in continuous production and may evolve through calibrated adjustments in scale, material, or finish. Development is cumulative rather than episodic.

The work is conceived to hold space rather than compete for attention. Proportion governs hierarchy; structure governs stability. Each object is resolved with long-term use in mind — built to withstand repetition within domestic, architectural, and hospitality contexts.

Early releases focus on lighting as the structural foundation of the collection, with furniture and objects expanding from the same compositional logic. This sequencing ensures clarity of identity while allowing disciplined growth across typologies.

Limited editions and occasional collaborations may appear as concentrated studies within the system — not as departures, but as intensifications of the core language.

Production is artisanally rooted yet operationally scalable. The collection is not defined by small-batch limitation, but by controlled expansion. Growth occurs through typological refinement and trusted workshop partnerships, preserving coherence while increasing capacity.

The Core Collection establishes the studio’s authored design world. Lucaz Re:born operates alongside it as a separate but complementary arm.
