Authorship & Method

Lucaz Design is author-led. All original works are conceived and designed by Cora Lucaz, whose practice developed through long-term engagement with historical architecture, high-end residential property development, and materially rigorous interior design.

Her work has included the design of bespoke furniture and architectural elements for historically significant residential projects delivered on a turnkey basis — conceived as contemporary interventions rather than stylistic reproductions. These projects operated at the highest level of finish and material resolution, where proportion, surface, and detail were treated as architectural decisions rather than decoration. They were not decorative exercises, but comprehensive architectural transformations executed at turnkey level.

In parallel, she sourced, curated, and restored exceptional furniture and objects, often refining material and finish so that each piece became structurally integrated within the space rather than applied to it. The objective was always compositional coherence.

In these contexts, clients committed to a complete vision. The work was not collaborative styling, but authored spatial direction — disciplined, deliberate, and proportionally exact.

Through SUITE 07, her experience in design-led property development reinforced a central conviction: that architecture, interiors, and objects must be conceived as a unified system. Lucaz Design extends this approach into an independent production platform.

This authorship is not defined by a fixed stylistic signature. While certain structural principles remain constant — proportion, material weight, compositional clarity — the formal expression is permitted range. Lucaz Design is conceived as a language rather than a formula: recognisable in its discipline, yet free in its manifestation.

The studio therefore operates through two interconnected strands:

The Core Collection — entirely original designs authored by Cora Lucaz.

Lucaz Re:born — selected twentieth-century works acquired and reissued under exclusive rights, developed through structured reinterpretation.

Both strands share a common sensibility but follow distinct commercial and IP frameworks. Together they form a dual structure: one rooted in original authorship, the other in strategic re-authorship.

The studio is culturally informed and operationally grounded. Growth is supported by a clear investor strategy, yet commercial structure remains in service of a singular authorial direction.
